what do you do for living? I didn't know there was an airport in Chaing Mai. I used to live nearby in Nakom Phenom. So I saw Bankok, Tokyo, Anchorage, LAX, Phoenix, ABE, Miami, JFK, Laguardia, dullas, Dallas, San Fransisco, Denver, Alb, New mexico, Orlando Fla, Cleveland, and others I know I missed, I was a field service engineer for Varian. That also took me to Tel Aviv, Heathrow, Dublin, Malmo Sweden, Taiwan, Hawaii, and Cairo. That's all I can remember right now. Oh yeah, Atlanta and Chicago.
My daughter Heather lives in Natal Brazil so I expect to see her sometime. Have yet to see South America. Oh yes, one other, Andros island, Bahamas, worked at AUTEC there. Just a dirt runway, maybe paved now.

I sit on O'Connell street in Dublin with a sign saying "Need money for food and a hostel to sleep tonight" and people give me a small fortune. Then I go travelling, spend the money and come back and do it all again 😵

I don't know how old it is but as one of the major tourist destination in northern Thailand you'd expect an airport considering its size. Such a beautiful city as well, shame it had more mosquitos than most places in Asia I went to, only the Perhentian islands in Malaysia had more.

South America is my favorite, especially Peru, a bit of a detour from Brazil though.

Erm, let's see...in no particular order...
Changi; Paya Lebar; Columbo Bandaranaike; Gan; Gibraltar; Paphos; Akrotiri; Lyneham; Brize Norton; Edinburgh; Humberside; Teeside; Aberdeen; Heathrow; Gatwick; Leeds-Bradford; Stornoway; Sumburgh; Newquay; Inverness; Manchester; Newcastle; Robin Hood aka Finningley; Mount Pleasant, Falkland Islands; Stanley, Falkland islands; Ascencion Island; Miri; Kota Kinabalu; Kuching; Kuala Lumpur; Penang; Auckland; Bangkok (both); Los Angeles; Tampa; Montevideo; Dubai; Bahrain; Malaga; Bandar Seri Begawan; Hanoi; Cork; Schiphol; Bali; Anchorage; Tokyo Narita; Belfast International; Keflavik, Rekjavik; Copenhagen; Billund; Budapest; Catania; Dakar (yuk); Toronto; Bombay when it was called Bombay; Siem Reap; Phnom Penh; Paris; Kaohsiung; Melbourne...plus a bunch of military-only airfields.
Most hair-raising approach: Mount Pleasant, Falklands on the 3rd attempt in a strong cross-wind, a truly white-knuckle, brown-trouser affair. Hardened soldiers were crying...
Nicest airports: Auckland, Bali and Hanoi
Grubbiest: Dakar and Heathrow Terminal 4
Most miserable, hatchet-faced immigration and customs officials: Los Angeles
Happiest, most welcoming immigration and customs officials: Siem Reap.

Your list is much more impressive than mine: all of mine are in the US, with the exception of one in Mexico.
And, when you factor the majority of mine are a result of layovers over connecting flights, my list is very pedestrian...

No wonder you think the Earth is flat. You haven't travelled far enough to notice the curvature.

What were you doing for living to go to that many places? I did a lot of US travel as a Varian rep but I don't think I did near the number you did.

I knew I should have paid the higher ticket price and gotten out of cargo...
