I just thought it might be fun if people put down on a scale of 1-10 how serious they are about chess. 1 being not really bothered, and 10,well speaks for itself.
Me i`m probably about a 5. Win some lose lots, but i dont mind. I just enjoy playing.

I'm a 5: never take more than a minute to move, never read a chess book etc etc.
Or maybe that's a four?

I'd have a very high seriousness score, were I not also a father. I wish I could support a family playing chess!
Now that I think of it, I don't know how to rate my seriousness. Six or seven I think.
My wife would say that I'm too serious about chess. 😉
