I would like to be less of a dumbass. Any tips? Literally every single liberal in debates is smarter than me.
Recommend a good book, video series or anything that can help.

@fmf saidIn Debates, someone mentioned the concept of "median Senate voters". I had no idea what that was and Googled it. It's apparently an idea related to "median voter theorem" which I had never even heard of. On that thread, everyone apparently just has that as a basic part of their general knowledge.
I don't think this is true.
If you are fishing for compliments or effusions, then the nearest you're going to get from me is me simply saying: "I don't think this is true."
This happens over and over with me on that forum. I need to take a break from it so I can do some of that getting smarter.
But you bring up a good point. I edited my post so it doesn't seem like I'm asking if I look fat in these jeans.

@vivify saidFavorite Voltaire quote: "A minister of state is excusable for the harm he does when the helm of government has forced his hand in a storm; but in the calm he is guilty of all the good he does not do."
I've heard of Voltaire. Seems like someone smart people know about. I will be reading that book this weekend.
