I don't think this is true.

If you are fishing for compliments or effusions, then the nearest you're going to get from me is me simply saying: "I don't think this is true."

change yer screen name to @smart-guy-4778 or @enlightenOman, and instantly you will be recognized as important and one to be revered
this small act will also increase yer IQ to levels unattainable by normies

In Debates, someone mentioned the concept of "median Senate voters". I had no idea what that was and Googled it. It's apparently an idea related to "median voter theorem" which I had never even heard of. On that thread, everyone apparently just has that as a basic part of their general knowledge.

This happens over and over with me on that forum. I need to take a break from it so I can do some of that getting smarter.

But you bring up a good point. I edited my post so it doesn't seem like I'm asking if I look fat in these jeans.

I'll fool everyone else....but then look in the mirror and know it's a lie.

I've heard of Voltaire. Seems like someone smart people know about. I will be reading that book this weekend.

I'd rather suggest starting with Candide.

Favorite Voltaire quote: "A minister of state is excusable for the harm he does when the helm of government has forced his hand in a storm; but in the calm he is guilty of all the good he does not do."

The book is Canadian philosopher John Ralston Saul's interesting scribblings rather than Voltaire's.

Just accept it and go on with your life, stumbling and tripping along the way.
