How to benefit the world?

How to benefit the world?

Many people wonder what they could do to really benefit themselves and the world.

Sometimes people feel a little overwhelmed on where and what to do.

There are two things that you can do to dramitically change your life and the worlds.

1. Stop eating animal products.

2. Meditate.

Take these two simple steps and the ripple effect of a better world will be manifested.

Then we'll have too start culling the herds so that they don't interfere with our meditation.

Catch22?

actually there is, mike.

there are plenty of soya bacons out there. the one by yves is what i'd recommend .... well, actually i don't like it, my tastes having outgrown anything that is 'meatlike' - but our cats and dogs love the stuff!

So then it is because your taste buds rule?
Setting aside your love for animal muscle.
The fact that these two simple actions could make a dramatic difference then right?

What do you mean by 'meditate'? Explain how this changes the world for the better.

Meditation can mean many things to many people.

I like to think of it is a slowing of the mind and connecting with the ultimate source.

Like filling in the gap. To go between the thoughts.

Take music for example it is only music with space between the note.

This is the same with our thoughts if we can learn to get in the gap then we hear our own music not just noise which goes on in our minds.

The bottom line is when we take care of our own lives we don't be a burden to others.

This obviously won't, which means that there are more than two things that you need to do...in't it geezer??

well, geewizz! that's the problem when you think you've made it to the top of the food chain. you find you just haven't made it till you entertain cannibalism 😲

actually, bigG, i remember reading some stuff about trancendental meditation in scientific american as to how effective it was as a meditation technique and they had some projections on large scale effects - not worldwide, but at least covering a small metropolis. i'll see if i can dig it up again, but that was written back in the 80s i think.
