Destroying the Earth is harder than you may have been led to believe.

You've seen the action movies where the bad guy threatens to destroy the Earth. You've heard people on the news claiming that the next nuclear war or cutting down rainforests or persisting in releasing hideous quantities of pollution into the atmosphere threatens to ...[text shortened]... at in the past, asteroids have hit the Earth with the explosive yield of five billion Hiroshi...
This isnt really going anywhere and the moment it does have a quick think and stop yourself. I think the main point is that the earth potental destruction is good in films and so they use it as a plot. Much like mant thing for example time travel is harder then you may of been lead to belive but its still used as a good plot.

Going with the idea of this thread, the earth was pretty much
destroyed early on, best evidence points to a planet the size of
mars whacking the earth when it was about 30 million years old
and the left over goo was what formed the moon because half the
planet was melted and the impact crater was more like the size of
a continent. Sounds pretty much like a planet destroying event to me.
Also your mention of what looks like 1.6 trillion tons of anti-matter
needed to whack the earth, I think there is more than enough
energy in one second of the sun's output to melt the earth to a
plasma if it was focused, directed at the earth and the total energy
being stretched in time, say for a day instead of one second,
I think that would pretty much do it.
The thing about that particular amount of energy is that it adds up
to the conversion of 4 million tons of hydrogen in a fusion process,
which is only about one percent as powerful as an anti-matter
reaction. I think 1.6 trillion tons of anti-matter could vaporize every
planet in the solar system, including the Kuiper belt if it was confined
to a beam the size of each planet and controlled where it was also
stretched in time to be usable.
I don't know where you got such a huge number for anti-matter in
this regard.

Sounds like someone needs his nappy changed!

You know, it's quite ironic you trying to criticise people like this when you can't even rustle up the intelligence to press the space bar after typing a comma...

This is the best you can come up with? a "space bar" error?
I don't even bother to insult as you deserve,I'll remand you to your own post an hour ago,in this same thread:

"Oh no! Someone made a mistake in Ravello's perfect world!
Fixed now, so you can stop whinging like a wanna-be Bowmann"

Substitute my username with yours and you'll have a picture of how stupid you are.

No, you're just far to stupid to think of anything.

And for your information, spanky, I was pointing out how hypocritical you were being; whinging about other people's mistakes when you can't even get your own posts right. As the old saying goes ~ 'Don't give it if you can't take it.'

I was thinking of dredging this pointless arguement out for a few more posts just to make you look stupid, but fortunately you're doing a damn fine job of that yourself! Please carry on posting your inane replies cos you're just proving my point about you being a hypocritical retard! 😉
