There is no medical arena here. Maybe the elders here can share great knowledge about their health experiences.
I'm tired, but that's explainable. I just completed my last course of chemo battling against eosophageal cancer. My latest results are excellent, and in fact display no Tcis ( = 0 carcinogenic cells now in situ). I have lost all of my hair though, as a result, yet it's just growing back...... I should smile. 🙂
I wonder who's suffering but never wants to discuss it, or is afraid of the outcome.
I have no fear of sharing my medical issues, initial fears of diagnosis and prognosis, and what following events occurred to lead to my beating the alien that tried to take over my being.
There's lots of experienced people here, with advice and knowledge to share.
So:
How are you?

Today is a day to remember that we all have, or will have, our cross(es) to bear.
Be kind to one another.
I hope all is well with everyone. Glad to see M and DG etc here doing well.
I ditched my FB account and will be doing similar here soon.
From mid Dec- end Jan I mistakenly was overdosing on diabetic meds. I couldn't figure out why my BS was so low. 😕
After another 6 weeks on the proper dosage my figures dropped still. I'm now on 25% or at times 0 my normal meds and seem fine.
I may have accidentally stumbled onto something, my doc is amazed. 😕
I think it might be temporary. I still feel loopy 😛
The post that was quoted here has been removeddrewnogal, my sentiments precisely. CP, you and your family members are still frequently in my thoughts and prayers.
Note: Mike, be thankful your life threating medical condition was accurately diagnosed and treated successfully. My own life threatening experience stymied a dozen physicians and specialists who all arrived at different conclusions. In April, 2012, my present Internist/'Family Doctor' was aghast with the inordinate number of seventeen medications of record during 2011. She's since reduced them to five low dosage generics per day with the objective of eliminating them entirely. All of these pharmaceutical chemical compounds clearly pose deleterious risks to the human body's major organs, epidermis, oral cavity and cerebral function [memory loss]. Yes, I realize "cerebral function" may be "tripping the engine of my own pain". lol
Great news Mike! Hope you get to playing guitar soon too! Did you see my PM about that guitar playing gal?
The worse thing medically for me was an ice skating accident where a major calf muscle got ripped in two, black and blue up and down my leg and into my butt, took 4 months of therapy to overcome, no operation would have helped, it had to heal on it's own.
Had a slipped disc once that required surgery but that's about it. Been healthy otherwise.
