although it was a resounding 7 wicket win in the end the game a lot closer than that.
lets not take anything away from the england team they played very well against a strong side and it was one of the better tests i have seen in a while.
lets hope the rain stays away and we can see more of the same.

Yes, it was close due to the lack of time for England to build the runs.
after all, in the previous 4 days 1173 runs had been scored at an average of 293.
the reason it was close is that is extremely difficult batting on a pitch that is five days old let alone scoring on that pitch. time for me was secondary. there was always enough time it was just could they get them without losing thier wickets.
take nothing away from england it was a world class run chase.
