Thanks. There's room for improvement, but for what it is i'm quite happy with it 🙂

Cheers dude. I've posted it in other places and i've had "The new Amsterdams", "Lou reed", and "Radiohead" (?? Apparently it reminded him a bit like creep in the timing choices) in the same sentences....flattering stuff indeed.

Nice job!

Even my brother says you need to get brave... why so scared to sing?

As I told another user here at RHP... "No, he sings better... much better... he's just not seeming to want to sing BRAVE".

Let it go for your next song... you won't get the heat I get for my songs.

Not sure I get the amber lamp reference, but still, not a bad song.

Strange reference i have to admit.

Basically, the song is about walking home at night and seeing a bunch of people hanging at a corner. Checking the facial expression of your partner as a kind of danger guage. The reference at the end was partly as a current youtube viral reference, and partly because it's the word of someone who's just had his teeth punched out. I guess it's a bit vague as references go.

I posted this in a forum for four track users, and i kept getting "It's not very happy for a song about smiling"...I had to explain the context, and they then clicked. I guess what you are trying to convey isn't always what actually comes across. That's art for you.

Explanation makes the whole thing that much funnier, and better!
