No, apparently about 1 in 50,000 cats don't have this 'glycoprotein Fel d1' which is the main cause of the allergic reaction in humans. Some company tested loads of cats, selected the special ones and are breeding them....

I didn't know some cats were hypoallergenic. Are they allergic to humans?
