Also, just because someone drinks it once and doesn't go blind, doesn't mean that there is no problem. Metabolic by-products like formaldehyde can accumulate to dangerous levels in the body, particularly with repeated use. (It may also be the case than each usage results in gradual eye damage which might not be noticed until the damage accumulates, but I'm not sure about that.) Bad stuff to drink.
