I claimed a win and I feel terrible about it. But it was against my brother so I feel kind of good. He shouldn't have been beating me like that. I think you are quite brave in your actions.
My sister was in a similar position, She and her boyfriend lived over 300 miles from myself and he felt that he was far enough away to be safe, but I resolved that problem.
I got into a fair bit of trouble, as he had three brothers.
But a sister is a sister, and as much as you are a pain (sisters in general), It was worth it.
Luckily, her boyfriends after that unsavoury situation seem to treat her a bit better.
Don’t let your future be a regretful past.
