I got a haircut today

3mm shearer job. 2,000 yen was all it cost.

Now my hair looks great all day long, and it only takes a brief glance in the mirror each morning and I know, "Yup, looks OK." Even when I wake up, I know it's held its non-existant style and body, and it looks as good as it did before I went to sleep. I don't have to comb or brush it for 20 minutes and spray all kinds of crap on it, or use that sticky horrible greasy jelly or Brylcreem, or rub in that whipped cream substitute, or worry about that wavey lock in the middle of my fringe falling out of place any more. And being so short, although it's obviously got the "salt-and-pepper" look and feel about it, you really have to look hard to see the grey ones which have been spreading. Now I look mousey-fair-haired again, and everyone says "Gosh, I didn't recognise you, I thought it was your younger brother, you look years younger," and all that phoney rubbish, but I do actually feel much better right now....

I got my hair cut today. First time in about 5 or 6 months.

I will also add that Darvin called me out for a bowl cut and I lied and said I was clean cut. Told him to shut up. I lied, and I am having trouble sleeping at night over it.

Darvin, you were right. I DID have a bowl cut when you said I did.

I feel shame, but I consider my new haircut a new begining.

I used to have very long hair. It took forever for it to dry when I washed it,and I washed it everyday.I bought a cheap pair of clippers and now I buzz it all off once a week.I spend far less on shampoo,
and it gives me a meaner , more evil look.
