Last night I had a dream where I crossed a street, and it was only later during dream-review how significant that might have been.
For background: one of my recurring nightmarish dreams is for me to start across a multiple-lane street (usually at night) and become incapable of moving when halfway across -- either to finish crossing or retreat safely -- and sometimes I'll notice the oncoming traffic before the dream ends.
Sure, probably sleep paralysis might be involved.
But last night in a dream I crossed a wide street and didn't think anything of it in the dream. Maybe I should mention that the dream was set in day rather than night.
In my case I had some dream memory as a kid and then began to cultivate it further as a teenager. No, I don't keep a dream journal.
Over the years I thought I had become familiar with the types of dreams I would have, but in recent years there have been some that have seemed so unlike the others that they stood out and I wondered if I might have had somebody else's dreams.
Although at times I have seemed to have a little bit of lookahead ability in waking life, I don't think I have ever had any dreams that turned out to be prophetic.
About three decades ago, in a dream one of my late grandmothers said a phrase that I used in a poem which I published (among others) around town back when I was doing poetry flyers.
Well, maybe this thread will sink, and I understand that some might rather not post about such personal things as their dreams, but here's a thread about dreams for any who are interested.

My dreams are rather dull. i.e. Standing in a field looking up at a cloud. Standing on a sidewalk looking at a traffic sign. Sitting in a chair watching a baseball game (between innings) Sometimes I try to go back into regular sleep because I get bored just seeing them. 🤔
@mchill saidThank you for sharing. It's interesting to learn that someone could have that style of typical dreams.
