i actualy sent him this msg:
''Hello,
for your information, i doubt anyone will accept your open game since its possible to lose rating when you win a game. if the rating differs really much, the player with a high rating will lose rating weather he wins or loses.
I calculated for you that if a player with 2000 rating would win from you, he/she would lose 1389 rating points.
Thats why i doubt anyone will accept your open invite.

The higher rated player would just get 0 points from winning.
And there is a maximum on rating points exchange.
Originally posted by zozozozoMy guess is that you somehow messed up when calculating the win expectancy. The only way you could get a result where you lose rating points for a win would be if the win expectancy would be > 1, which it can't be. In this case it's very close to 1, which makes the number of rating points gained < 1, and only full rating points count, so the rating stays the same.
i allready thought it was alot of points to lose, but i freeking calculated it twice from the FAQ!ðŸ˜

I wonder if I should accept for fun, but then delete the game after a move. That would teach people not to behave like that.
That function was created because of people like you appointing themselves as 'open invite moderators' notably XantwatNZ or whatever he was called.
