Seriously.
What on earth motivates these people to run around in circles?
They're like little goldfish swimming around in their respective bowls, with nothing better to do all day than relooking at that which they've probably just forgotten.

I have a distinct feeling they're trying to make me feel bad. I can see them looking up at my window as they run past thinking: "See. He's drinking whiskey and playing computer games. He could be out being fit like us."
They're attempts to make me feel guilty, insignificant, unhealthy and fat are pathetic. They should get a life!

I bet they feel superior as they run around in their bright orange, blue or pink plastic clothing. They make me sick. They are fashion run rampant and they serve no other purpose than to make the lovely park look like a lunatic asylum. Who on earth would wear such abysmal clothing?

Why don't they run somewhere? Move from A to B and then go and do something which they wanted to do in B?
No, they just go from A to B and back to A. Then they generally go home and shower.
It's bizar. Even ants have more purpose in their lives.

I hope one of them slides on dog poo and breaks an ankle. That would make my day.

hmm I go jogging... sometimes... but I don't run around in circles, that's stupid. I do it cuz I have to walk my dog anyway, so I might just as well run while doing it 😛
and btw... I do wear normal clothing when jogging... no bright colors 😀
so, not all joggers are out to make you feel bad 😛

Sorry dude gotta defend joggers and runners here.

Bright clothes are worn 'cos motorists tend to be idiots who can't see pedestrians (I should know I am one of those) so forgive them that, believe me I would rather run in some dull grey so I was less prominent, but luminous yellow it is 🙂

Trust me they aren't looking at your window or trying to make you feel guilty and fat... if they feel anything like I feel on the run it's making sure they don't expire with their next breath/step that keeps them going.

Many of these guys/gals will run somewhere soon. It's called a race - it starts at A (e.g Greenwich Park) and finishes at B (e.g. near Buck Palace). Now is the key time for training towards Spring Marathons (in UK, France, USA there are 3 in 3 weeks in April). Most of these guys must train to get around in one peice, and at the same time raise a couple of thousand pounds for charity. They don't just turn up on the day and run the 26.2 miles from scratch (well some do, but they tend to struggle).

As for drinking Whiskey and sitting at a PC, try it after a run, you will feel much more relaxed and the Whiskey will taste oh so much better 🙂

Running in circles (we call them laps btw) makes it easier to measure the distance you have covered. Slipping on dogpoo is not pleasent, and a broken ankle is something I would wish on people who are bothering me, not just going about their hobbies.

I've just got back from my race today, gonna have some dinner (A nice fatty takeaway - I earnt it you see), have a beer, and maybe something stronger later. I'll have run it off inside a week!

I hope you don't strain your wrist whilst using your PC or lifting your glass tonight... that might ruin your day.

Edit - can't be doing with correcting my spelling - soz 😉
