I had a friend once and all he did was look at some one who was drunk. The next thing you know is that he was followed and shot outside the pub (bar). So brag all you like about how brave and tough you are, but we all die, some sooner than later
Im not saying how brave or tough I am. I am saying that I would not say anything to anyone ever (here or otherwise) that I would not say to their face. Don't you think that is good policy?

I live in a little village near stansted airport and we are civilised enough not to walk around stabbing each other. I am relatively safe. In the post I give my address I also gave Nordlys permission to kill me. I don't expect to be killed because I think if I ever am it would be for a real reason as opposed to calling someone a idiot on a chess website.
I live in a small village about 20 minutes from Stansted. Also use my real name. Very civilised part of the world around here

If people had to use their real name for a screen nick, along with their true address and phone number, people wouldn't be such a bunch of jerks to each other.
Since people can hide behind a screen nick and have anonymity, they feel empowered to do and say things that in real life would get them a good hard punch in the mouth.
What a bunch of mouthy cowards the internet begat.

That would depend on how big you are and what you say. If you're a huge sombitch that's built like a vending machine and really pretty nice it's probably a great policy. If you weigh 100lbs soaking wet and are rude - probably not so much.

Personally, I am almost as much of a bastard in real life. Still, much of what I say is in jest and, let's face it, I'm a funny guy.
