It's nothing personal.
Perhaps their status provides me with a false assurance
that they're cleaner, or maybe it is my unconscious way
of pretending that I am still one of them --even though,
clearly, I am not anymore.
The fact is that I guiltily crawl into the shadows, and I
creep on them, offering themselves, one by one. And
I only approach them when they have that little star
next to them.
It makes me feel dirty, but that's the way my appetites
work. I only do it with subscribers.
