When i put my popadoms in the hot oil, they curl up and don't cook properly. I want nice, flattish, well cooked popadoms like they make in the restaraunts 🙁

I just googled popadoms and got a page from yahoo answers with explicit illustrated instructions for cooking them. Try that, it will take only a moment to find. 🙂

Your oil is too hot. Try it at a slightly lower temperature and they should be fine.
