Small price to pay and worth it, if you put it all in perspective to show how many people lost their lives that day and why it drove Americans crazy with anger and pain. It is still a sensitive issue. Think about seven pages of names, not because it was put on a chess site but how many people died that day. Name after name after name. And for what? But lets not get into that. It is really off topic. I don't expect a non American to understand. But I wish they would.

I understand that Americans are still very emotional about it, but spamming up, what at the time was a very heated thread, with close to 3000 names, was uncalled for and pissed off lots of people, including some Americans.

Mass Copy/Pasting is already frowned upon - it's not good forum etiquette.

Copy/Pasting 10+ pages of names in double spacing was the biggest spam this site has ever seen, so drastic action was called for.
