Hu-um. Psst. It's norwegian actually. Began as a project of Telenor back in the mid nineties. 😕
But it's a good one. I like it. Still use ff though. How could I possibly be accused of using anything norwegian? 😉
"Opera started out as a research project in Norway's largest telecom company, Telenor, in 1994, and branched out into an independent development company named Opera Software ASA in 1995. Opera Software develops the Opera Web browser, a high-quality, multi-platform product for a wide range of platforms, operating systems and embedded Internet products"
Strange how very many neighboring countries have this deep suspicion of one another when distant outsiders couldn't even distinguish between them in full sunlight.

The truth is, that this whole dividing the world into countries is a stupid thing to me. Even stranger is the idea that people living within certain borders are supposed to be this way, while people living within other borders are supposed to be different. A rather quaint idea, wouldn't you agree?

Yet I do think that diversity is good to a point. What is right in one area might not work in some other area.

It seems that all (?) countries have either a neighbour country or a region in their own country to make fun of. In Germany, we make fun of the East Frisians (East Friesland is a region in Northern Germany), in France, they make fun of the Belgians, etc.

A hoover doesn't hover.
Glad to hear you'd forgotten about that. 🙂
Oh, and a hoover could hover. All that's really required is a big fan below the hoover to lift it off the ground. Of course, that fan would blow all the dust everywhere but into the hoover, but it'd still be a hovering hoover. 😀
Right? 😕
