His music and creativity had died. I think the world would have just gottten tired of hearing about the "world according to John Lennon" so to speak.

I'm one of the biggest Beatles fans in the world but it is what it is.
Sorry, I disagree - he was actually improving with age in my opinion.

I bet McCartney is jealous as hell of Liverpool's airport.

His music as a solo musician was very lame. Wouldn't have been noted much if he weren't a Beatle.

He would have continued to make non-descript music. We would be seeing more peolple walk around trying to look like him. We would be hearing a lot more of Yoko as well....YIKES!!

We would be still forced to listen to his mundane music and the shrieks of Yoko (Battle Axe) Ono.

Quick list of my favorite artists: Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, The Allman Bros. Band. What does that prove? Nothing.

Do you actually find his solo career that substantial? If he weren't a Beatle, we wouldn't have this discussion.

ABBA? Come on.

Led Zeppelin, Neil Young are two of my favourites.

We will have to agree to disagree about JL then.

THe only thing a Neil Young will remember is a Southern man doesn't need him around. Other than that John Lennon would have been Sir John.
