Reminds me of a short story by Heinrich Böll, "Nicht nur zur Weihnachtszeit" ("Christmas Not Just Once A Year" ), which is about a family celebrating Christmas every day because the aunt gets a hysterical fit when they try to take the Christmas decoration away. After a while they start to replace some family members with puppets because they can't bear to be there every day, I think one family member completely loses his mind, and it all ends badly.
I wish it could be Christmas every day.

Edit: By the way, I find that highly unfair. I never got paid extraordinarily well when working Christmas. ๐

I find it unfair that i can't get the girl i dreamed about last night , an entirely innocent dream which ended with a funeral where everyone was wearing simpsons costumes {?}, life is like that i guess.
Discounting wishing for more wishes, I'd wish for world peace. It'd be all too easy to wish for something that'd directly benefit myself, but harmony amongst all nations is something that would last until the cessation of humanity, whereas wishes that directly benefit myself would only last as long as I exist... and eternal life is a bad thing to wish for.
