Ok. You can do expenses and I'll do deductions. 🙂
I do like Turbo Tax though. I've been using'em for years. So far so good... But we'll see.
I finished mine last night...so hah.
Imagine my joy when at almost midnight I "found" a nice $1000 deduction that had fallen into the recesses of my filing cabinet.
Good luck.

So you have to pay for the priveledge of having money taken off you. good grief. I'm startin to feel glad I'm English.
Originally posted by mwmillerThat's correct. Basically the govt gets an interest free loan for a year, then gives the money back at the end.
Yes but when you think about it, they're just giving you back some of your own money that they were able to use all year. But even then it's nice to get some of it back.
Not a bad deal for them huh?
Originally posted by PhlabibitWell it may not save you much. Turbo charges me $59 to do the fed return and $25 for the state. I kinda like doing'em though. My wife does the record keeping during the year and then all I have to do is put it all together. The thing I really like is being able to do it from my home pc. It's really just about convienance for me.
I get charged near $100 bucks to have my taxes done... I think I'll try Turbo next year.
Good news, did my taxes early!
Bad news, now the money is spent!
ES
I recommend it though.
I mean no offense by this, but I don't understand why people go to such troube to have their taxes done. Since I was sixteen I have just read the books and done them myself. Time consuming, but not so terribly difficult. The best part is that they don't change much from year to year, so it often gets easier each year.
