I tried to watch a couple of them this last weekend, but they are far from a justification to such a multitude of nerds going to the conventions, dressing like klingons, and doing stupid, nerdy things related to Star Trek.

I am sorry, guys, but Star Wars is far beyond more justification for nerdiness.

But please explain to me, so I understand why the fuzz.

Being a trekkie makes you feel fulfilled?

Does it compensate the lack of sex or the low wage?

Does it make you feel like you belong?

Is some sort of 'life purpose' placebo?

Thanks for the input.

What did you watch? There are a lot of crappy episodes. Maybe you were just unlucky. Or maybe it's just not your thing.

As for your questions: No, no, no, and no. Then again, I am not the type of trekkie who would go to conventions or dress up like a Klingon.

Hipster

You`re so sweet
You`re so fine
I want you all and everything
Just to be mine

`Cos you`re my baby
`Cos you`re my love
Girl I`m just a hipster
For you love

You slide so good
With bones so fair
You`ve got the universe
Reclining in your hair

Just like a car
You`re pleasing to behold
I`ll call you Jaguar
If I may be so bold

The wild winds blow
Upon your frozen cheeks
The way you flip your hip
It always makes me weak

Your motivation
Is so sweet
Your vibrations
Are burning up my feet

Girl I`m just a hipster
For your love
Girl I`m just a vampire
For your love

I`m gonna suck you.

(apologies to the ghost of Marc Bolan)

I tried to read a couple of Seitse post's this last weekend, but they are far from a justification to such a multitude of nerds going to the RHP genral forums, dressing like bishops, and doing stupid, nerdy things related to Chess.

I am sorry, guys, but Grampy Bobby is far beyond more justification for nerdiness.

Not sure what you mean. Uzless, as I'm sure you could deduce, is an environmental term. "Use Less", as in help the environment.

So, unless you were going for the rather obvious pendantic smirker, I don't follow your query. Please enlighten.

He was accusing you of 3(a).

(It's "pedantic", by the way.)

I suppose that I at least distinguish between the two. 😛
