What would it have / not have if you had the chance to design one?

@very-rusty saidIt's a mixture of virtue signalling and consummate pragmatism, ergo = "nice".
That is a nice thought.

I wonder if, in the next decade or two, in addition to Universal Basic Income we might also have Universal Basic Rations (just as a foundation -- people could still buy better or luxury food if they worked or bartered for it, or even with some of their UBI, or of course grow their own in some locations).
But of course some would say that would only encourage "those people" to breed more of their kind, as if "those people" were vermin. So much for the "sanctity" of human life!
As for water: maybe after Nestlé privatizes Earth's water, as a corporate gesture to generate goodwill (and keep their executives from getting killed) maybe they would offer Universal Basic Water for free, which of course would be less filtered and processed than their various tiers of premium water.
(Sorry for the cynical digression.)
I wonder what the problem(s) is/are regarding water purification in the 21st Century. It seems like it would be an easy problem to solve with present-day tech, perhaps in a variety of ways to suit different locations and raw water sources.
If you take a minute to think about it.
The issues we have with global warming (which does exist), pollution in the air and water have all been man created from greed!
We who drive gas run engines which there are literally millions pollute the air each day we drive our vehicles. I haven't even given it much thought in the past. I am part of the problem with my Savana Van and hydraulic lift in it, which I had for transporting someone in a wheelchair for years.
Now that she has passed back 5 years ago I don't really need it anymore. Been seriously considering down grading, just so use to driving a large vehicle and feel safer in it with the steel bumpers and being higher up.
Being in a perfect world is a nice thought, but far from reality in my opinion.
