I find that I have the most time to play here when I get home from
work, which is after midnight Eastern US time. But it is rare that I find
many of my opponents making moves at that hour. So, if there are
any other people who keep the same strange hours as I do, or live
somewhere where their prime on-line time coincides with mine,
respond here and perhaps we can get a game going. I always enjoy
those sessions when your opponent is on the site at the same time as
you, and you just sit and click "Refresh" every once in a while, and
play several moves in one sitting.

You might try creating open invites at the time you are interested in
finding your opponents online. It doesn't mean they are always
online at that time, but worth a try, anyway.

.. or you could look at the public games screen and challenge
someone with the required rating who's on-line.

Tim,
I'm often awake at that time. I find it hard to sat in bed and
ignore my urge to come to Red Hot Pawn. Generally I succeed and I
go back to sleep.

My problem is that I get out of work at midnight, and it takes me
QUITE a while to unwind from my job-- so sleep-time is usually around
3 a.m. or later. Sometimes this site helps me unwind-- other times, if
my games aren't going well, it does just the opposite!
