I've recently read that NASA invested a qauntity of millions into developing a pen that worked in space. This was because conventional biros need gravity to function properly. Now I continued to read this article which then went on to say that after NASA invented this pen at a cost of many millions. The Russian space agency had already decided to use pencils.😀
