Do you know of any way to stream internet content on a tv via a home network connected to an xbox? my antiquated tv won't hook up as an alternative pc display and I'm running out of ideas.
I have tried Orb and TVersity. TVersity seems to stream stuff but I won't cough up $40 for the Pro version until I can get an answer as to whether or not it will work with the sites I want to connect to. Orb does not seem to do anything at all as far as I can see...

Thanks for the input guys but Boxee and the AT&T applications are US based and far as I have been able to figure out will not work in the UK or rather might work but won't give you the content (most US sites will not stream outside the mainland US).
I have downloaded a Firefox add-on that captures video streams and saves them to the hard drive - you can then watch the movies on the TV via Orb or TVersity no problem but the add-on will not capture from sites that require you to log in e.g. lovefilm...
Am I missing something with Orb? How the heck to I get it to stream movies from an internet site???

I'm surprised Orb doesn't work for you, I've heard that's one of the best for the X-Box. What input connections do you have on your TV?
Quick Google search turned up this:
