ipod and itunes copying

My old computer broke totally, I bought a new one but all the music I've collected is on my ipod. I don't want to spend my time recopying cd's, so does anyone know how to copy music from an ipod into itunes?

I've tried at length and cant work out how to do it.

Any help much appreciated!!

Same thing happened to my house mate.

He managed to copy and paste all tunes to his new PC but is spendng the rest of his life renaming the files.

ipods are gay.
