Fair play and honour are qualities that are probably more respected than apathy.
It may be just a board game but ask yourself: what kind of loser cheats at a board game?
I want to play fair. I want to play honourable. But if someone else doesn't, that, my friend, is up to them.
I can't prove it one way or another (not 100% ) and what's the point of stimatising someone, perhaps by mistake, over a wee game?
And that's my problem. If you think someone's cheating, don't play them.
Or, like in my case, do play them, because it doesn't diminish me and my behaviour.
