Perhaps the book on elementary science was printed in the UK, or related countries. I read much when I was younger, mostly books on simple science experiments. 😀

hang on, aren't the tinfoil hats supposed to block reception? this explains a lot.

as for the paint thing, why not just try it and see what happens? it's called "first-hand knowledge".

Only selected signals are blocked. The people on planet Z-9 are our friends.

I could read newspapers before I went to school at age 6 - but then my age caught up with my IQ and passed it ..... :'(

My teacher said I could go far. One day I went out to the big oak tree at the end of the playground and asked her if this was far enough. She said "Not near enough, go further."

I owe that to the slightly gray/blue tint of my interior walls. Thus enabling my tin foil hat to really receive.
You must have the hat on inside out.
It's supposed to block signals.
That could explain a few things though.

Just to clarify-
Tint is actually when you add white to a color.
Hue or shade is when you add the black.
It must be a lovely shade of gray/blue on your walls. Do you find it soothing?🙂

i don't know what school you went to, if any, but at mine they didn't say a whole lot about tinfoil hats, no.
