You obviously didn't see the performance at the Osaka Dome on 21st March 2003. The average age of the audience was probably the same as the performers; that was because the organisers had to give away tickets because they couldn't sell enough. Even then, there were only about 7,000 in a 15,000 seat stadium... The show lasted 100 minutes, which was much too sho ...[text shortened]... & Bill & Keith &co. don't play for the small guys any more...
EDIT: Why is this bold?
The don't have the name of greatest stadium performers for nothing.
P.S. Bold is probably because you snipped off a bit of the reply quote box- usually the way.

You can't choose whom you are attracted to. Ask any gay person whether he chose to be attracted to men. Or ask yourself (assuming you are heterosexual and male) whether you chose to be attracted to women, and whether you could choose to be attracted to men instead if you wanted.

Highly recommend "Influence Science and Practice" by Robert B. Cialdini (Arizona State University).
The book's key premise is that in a world as complex as ours (information overload, i.e.), people make decisions based on generalizations. Such generalizitions usually allow people to act in a correct manner (with limited amount reasoning). Nevertheless, it can also be a weapon to influence others in to acting certain ways... voluntarily or not.

’cause I try and I try and I try and I try.
I can’t get no, I can’t get no.
Whereas millions around the world disagree with you.
Do I detect a tiny hint of envy for the "action" Mick Jagger certainly does get. 😉

If that wasn't so sad it would be laughable.
Here is a great way to discuss it. Ask them.
And then either believe them when they tell you who they are attracted to or don't, based on, um, what?
A book?
Sometimes these posts make me want to scream. Why do you care? Why did you bring this up?
You start with music and oh yeah by the way - let's make fun of people with a different sexual orientation than you have.
Is there really nothing more interesting in your life to talk about than who other people fall in love with? Please - post again and tell us something interesting about you. Hobbies, places you have been, things you have seen - maybe an idea you have or an original thought?

An idea which, by the way, is not even offensive to people with "different" sexual orientation (different from whom? well, you used the term "different" anyway, not me)?
Listen, it is surprising where the intolerance is coming from... if you read carefully, what I'm saying is that sometimes sexual orientation MAY be as being a democrat or a republican or a Chelsea or Liverpool fan: A result of external influence.
Anyway, if this suggestion for debate annoys you, let's leave it like that and I apologize if anyone felt this was more than an interesting debate... I will then throw on the table a subject of discussion which touches no sensibilities, for example... mmhh.. let me think... cartoons about the prophet of a religion?... oh, no, wait! That may also annoy someone. Damn it.

The Stones are the greatest. Noone comes close to touching them.
Many blues musicians hit their prime in their seventies. Noone thinks it's strange to see the greats play until they die. Why should it be different for the Stones? And Jagger is still as energetic a performer as ever. They still play the stadiums, and still rock every single person there.
...[text shortened]... eep your Coldhead and Radioplay. The Stones could kick all their @rses in their sleep. Rock on!

I don't know Radiohead.
My hair is short and I never read magazines.
I think most musicians are stuck up their own backsides, but they are good at what they do, and I like the sounds that they put together. I don't like them because they look good, or give good interviews, or fight or anything like that (although if I ever saw them walking down my street I'd probably follow Mick & Rod & all them oldies around in case someone fell off of them...).
So, who else likes Nokko, Hajime Chitose, Pino Daniele, Varius Manx, T-Love?
