So I just had the most ridiculous muffin which was covered in COFFEE beans all over the damn place! You cannot believe this muffin.

I was listening to Frank Zappa this morning, listening to disc 1 of Make a Jazz Noise Here, and it's in the middle of Theme From Lumpy Gravy and I suddenly had an epiphany of galactical proportions!! Damn that muffin went down really well with the cappuchino. I realised that there should always be a Frank Zappa Thread on the front page of every forum in the world, because Frank released a billion ideas into the cosmos and we should never ever stop talking about him and educating the next generation and so on and so on until in 6000 years he will be like Jesus, yes, and Muffy, this is a religion from the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen with a little green rosetta and certain marital aids attachments.

If you do not like or enjoy ANY of Frank Zappa's music then you have no taste and I believe that, with one specially polished zircon encrusted tweezer, I can prove you wrong but the coffee is going to wear off really really soon.

I've just realised that I don't have Make a Jazz Noise Here. Is it worth getting?

Depends on how much you like Frank Zappa...

It's great... but it's probably best appreciated by Zappa nutjobs.

I must say I don't recall ever hearing a Zappa song. I may have but I wouldn't have known who it was. Not that I wouldn't like it, so I don't have bad taste or anything 😛, I've just never had the PLEASURE...

Correct this heinous state of affairs immediately or forever be deemed unfit to hold the right of having ears!

Okay, okay, I'll get on it- all the talk in the forums about Zappa all the time, there's gotta be SOMETHING to it...

Get your hands on Frank Zappa's album, Apostrophe ('😉. Give the album your full attention until it ends and you'll be cured of your non-Zappaness.

Yes Apostrophe is a good intro to Zappa, then listen to Hot Rats.

Are there not some "new" Zappa releases out now?

Excellent question my darling

As Mr Zappa left the stage for the great studio in the sky back on 4 December 1993, the only 'new' material we seem to get is repackaged package deals. See XanthosNZ's profile for further information on package deals.

Many would argue that there is so much Zappa out there that it would take a lifetime to fully digest it all.

Yes, but he recorder a lot of material which is sitting in the vaults at the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen, waiting to be miced and mastered.
The Yellow Shark was the first posthumous release, I believe.
