Yes, there is a list. I think this is the most current unless something has changed recently.

In order to achieve moderatorship one is required to undergo a series of rigourously demanding and arduous tests designed to ascertain your capabilities and skills in the arena of diplomacy, neutrality and congeniality. This testing, however, only occurs after one has attained a full set of chimp credits coupled with complete knowledge and understanding of the ONE TRUTH.

The second, and alternative, route to moderator-status is to provide detailed evidence of your deftness at performing as part of a power-hungry clique hell-bent on abusing your position of mind-boggling dominance over 99.9% of all other users on a web site to the extent that you leave certain users, chosen purely on a whim, feeling singled-out and harshly judged. Extra consideration is given to those adept at creating and then maintaining long-running personal agendas against specially targetted users chosen at your discretion and just generally ruling in an all round inconsistent and duplicitous, two-faced manner. Candidates with experience of, and hunger for, propogating conspiracy theories in order to cover-up the untold and often hidden truth behind moderating and moderators will be particularly favoured.

The third, and absolutely final, path to being a moderator is to send a PM to Russ saying that you'd be willing to help out with moderating and that you're prepared to just try and do the best you can.
