@Jack-Gibson saidOnce upon a time, banned players were listed with an explanation of the banning.
I was wondering if any long standing players on the site can explain why there are barred players. As I'm new on here I am curious to knew the reasons players get barred and the consequence thereof.
Thanks guys.
Could be abusive behaviour in chats / forums, cheating in games, spamming, wearing dubious fashion accessories etc. etc.
Now - they are quietly removed.
Fun fact: Some "new" players are actually "old" players. But only the admin can really tell for sure. That can sometimes result in a ban too.
Be polite, play fair and dress properly. You'll be fine.
@Jack-Gibson
they were aliens from the gottar planetary system and they have stockfish downloaded into their brains
accept no substitutes
@orangutan
That clears things up...I think I may be 'barred' for my dress sense and 70s mullet.
Thank you for taking the time to reply.
Kind regards
Jack
@rookie54
I see, that clears up not only the 'barred' players syndrome, but addresses the weird names of players. It may be more appropriate to rename the site Intergalactic Red Hot Pawn. and open negotiations with estranged lifeforms.
Many thanks for taking the time to reply...lots to muse over now.
kind regards
Jack

My favorite bar has "barred" me from fighting with other patrons on Ladies' Night. They said it scares the other clientele. The bartender told me they didn't "ban" me because I'm usually too much fun.
@Jack-Gibson saidHaha! Cheers!
@Suzianne
Hi Suzianne, I understand where you're coming from. Banned people from bars are much more interesting than the onlookers, the banned having a lot more to say, so to speak...no pun intended lol
Kind regards Jack (unbarred but very dodgy dress sense)
