It doesn't work that way. You can't change other people. You can only change yourself. Maturity takes people as they are. Immaturity keeps

on trying to change them to fit its own expectations and replicate itself... and then, when finally realizing it cannot, attempts to destroy them.

What if I give you some advice and that changes your thinking?

Or if I give you a load of money and that makes you become a selfish person?

Or I tell you your post makes no sense whatsoever and that changes your mood?

All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing.

It is not too late.

Stop this nonsense and put your efforts to better use.

You are correct.. you can't change other people. But you can influence them by setting an example and you can inspire them to change themselves. Ask any teacher.

Or anyone who cares. Pastors and parents, too.

Of course we may provide information or example or inspiration... but we stop well short of coercive methods or intimidations. Volition matters.

Of course tyrannical power in large or small venues snufs out human freedom. Topic of this conversation concerns behavior in our private lives.
