France is too strong. Portugal will bang their head into a solid defence and lose with a goal down or two. That's my "professional" guess =)

France will make the final and win the tournament. I've put money on that. Anyway, until the England - Portugal game, I was in favour of Portugal, but after C.Ronaldo's behaviour towards Rooney, I wanted England to win and Portugal to lose. (being a Scot, believe me, that is a tough call to make!!!). However, England lost, but I still want Portugal to lose because I don't believe C.Ronaldo deserves to win. Quite happy with the other Portuguese players, and I roomed with a Portuguese guy a few yerars ago and we're still friends, but C.Ronaldo derserves a large dose of karma and I hope the French administer it to him.

I was quite suprised at the betting, plenty 11/2 Portugal to win the WC on betfair, I think after France's performance against Brazil there has been a bit of a basis change, it will be interesting to see which France turns up tonight
