Insults and excuses etc etc aside, Italy were actually very very good last night, from the UTTERLY AWESOME Zambrotta to the ever-reliable Buffon, they made an otherwise good side look clueless. Apart from Shevchenko being denied a penalty, it was a game Italy owned from the start. And five games in still nobody from another team has scored against them.
But Lippi, please please don't play del Piero in place of Totti, ever ever ever again!
