"In a recent Ohio Court of Appeals' decision, the court concluded that the mere fact that the supported spouse has undergone a sex-change operation does not alleviate the other spouse's support obligation." - This is only one example of many similar rulings nation wide.

Give me a break. I've always thought that alimony was a crock, but, now you have to pay even if your ex-spouse has turned herself into a dude? What a freak show.

Haha, how embarrassing imaging telling people you had to support your ex-partner and then having to admit it was a guy.

Did the couple split up because of the sex change? or did he become a bloke afterwards?

If it is the former, then the world really has gone tits up (or no tits in this case).

I'm sure there are cases both ways. There is a recent case in Florida where some poor guys wife left him after 17 years of marriage and she has since become a dude. He is paying $1200 per month in alimony to a dude (Florida does not currently recognize sex changes).

I thought a sex change was "back bum" instead of "front bum"?
