The best thing about the domestic rabbit stew served in my childhood home was knowing that they had a fun life, hopping around the garden, before that surprising final chop on the back of the neck. Much kinder that being squashed into a cattle lorry and driven for long days before arriving at a blood soaked slaughter house 😊

I enjoy a nice rabbit stew myself being from the country. I grew up eating rabbits, and other wild game. We actually use to catch them in snares and sell them for 1.00 a pair, that was big money back in the day believe it or not. We thought we were rich when it went up to $2,00 a pair, man you get a bunch of ...[text shortened]... eally matter anymore. 🙂
