What massive blockbuster films have you somehow not yet seen and do you have a good reason why not?

For me, I am in my 5th decade and I am yet to watch any of the Star Wars films.

Reason: It seemed like it wasn't Star Trek enough when I was a kid and then I never got round to catching up with it when I subsequently realised that things didn't have to be like Star Trek.

Godzilla
Titanic

...

Reason: Obvious.

All the Harry Potter films. I tell myself that it's because I want to read the books first...but the closest I've come to reading any of them is when I read a JK Rowling interview.

Most of them because I don't go see many movies. Avatar is one, and no, I have no good reason.

I think it's worth seeing simply because of it's powerful and intentional political impact.

I see movies every week - except blockbusters. Poorly acted, horribly scripted crap.

Yeah, I forgot: Harry Potter is also in my "I'd rather have an enema" list.

Mmm... I'm guessing Harry Potter and the Twilight films are the most obvious ones.

With enema's like that, who needs friends?

All Star Wars movies
All Star Trek movies
Ben Hur
Brokeback Mountain

Reason: haven't found a reason to watch them.

I don't think I've thought of Brokeback Mountain as a blockbuster, but I haven't seen it yet, either.

Ben-Hur is the rare movie the follows the book nearly exactly. The only way to watch it is on widescreen, and the bigger the screen the better. The direction and the sets are fantastic.
