Figured (no, hoped) the gesture might count for something and, possibly, be enough.

We say "more complete" here in Canada. Well except for Darvlay of course. 😉

We also use eh at the end of a sentence eh. 😉

A happy man is a complete man. If he wins a million dollars he's more complete. If he gets married he's truly finished...

Usually the 'R' is not heard...Tonic Wata as an example. 😉

All in Jest of course, not picking on the Boston folks, we send them a Christmas tree every year. My cousins and I use to have fun with it as kids.

Replace it with something like a 'w' that doesn't really sound like an 'r' or 'w'... 🙂

I hope that was helpful!

A 'w'? I didn't know Elmer Fudd was a Bostonian.

You are about as helpful as a shot in the junk. I really don't expect anything more from you though so I'm not disappointed.

That is great, I wouldn't be able to sleep nights if I happened to disappoint you. 😉

Why don't you take a little trip to Boston and you will see exactly what I was talking about.

For those who may not know:

Elmer J. Fudd is a fictional cartoon character and one of the most famous Looney Tunes characters, and the de facto archenemy of Bugs Bunny.

In New England there are several words you MUST pronounce the "R" with.

Married being one, and WRONG being another.
