I saw the latest Bond movie as well, and used to think that way, but now agree with it. Ian Fleming penned the first words of the Bond novels about 75 years ago. James Bond is a relic of a cold war that ended in the early 90's. It was a great series in its time, but I think we should let it RIP.

-Removed-Yes, it was probably left with nowhere else to go, but I was left with a feeling that the people who killed him had no right to end the characters life. Like killing somebody I had known for decades and they had only just met.
He was Ian Fleming's character. Should somebody get to kill him who wasn't around in the period of history where he made sense, just because they wanted a more suitable hero to fit in with contemporary sensitivities??
