I was there from Apr to Jun, 1999. was a member of JOCV and sent to caribbean after the training. were you there in '99?

awc222-san was at the Nihonmatsu Training Centre by 1999. Many of us were moved from Komagane to Nihonmatsu in 1995 when JOCV reorganized its training programmes.

There are many great things in Japan, people being one of them. Too bad the economic bubble burst and it is tougher to keep your head above the water.

I was glad to live in the countryside and out of the huge cities. Getting around was less of a hassle and the vistas were fantastic.

Just Oki. But that doesnt really count as Japan. I went to the university of alcoholism and drunken brawling which is located there. I still have my uniforms.
