i have just got a new laptop.

i tries yahoo chess.

i couldnt open the java applet to play.

is there a setting on my pc that needs to be ticked?

yes theres a setting you need to tick

Its says:

"If you are noob click here for Yahoo! aplets"

But if you aint noob go to FICS!

What's the error message?
What browser are you using?
As it's new, have you actually got Jave installed on the machine?
