What we are dealing with here is a perfect engine, an viral machine. It's really a miracle of evolution. All this machine does is float, infect and make little coronavirus, and that's all.

And that, in a nutshell, is the issue.

when I first saw jaws I was certain that that mayor would be eaten by jaws
    would have been justice rendered
maybe we'll get a redo with trump
have his brain removed and eaten by a smiling Nancy Pelosi

Is it just me or does Richard Dreyfus always seem like a pompous ass?

    Still alive, I see. 😉

Hoping you and yours are well and dodging the virus and its witless spreaders.

This crisis had me thinking of the end of War of the Worlds and how microbes were the Martians' undoing. I'm not sure this virus will be humanity's undoing, but it is certainly churning up some interesting responses and giving our systems a good shake.

If it were something like airborne Ebola with a two-day incubation period before the sick workers exploded into infectious blood dust, the saviors of the economy might be crooning a different hymn.

Which I suppose makes me an optimist.

I have partaken in a few beers called Pompous Ass and it’s quite good in spite of it’s unusual moniker.👍👏👌

But that's persiflage! Oh heck, maybe parsimony or perfidy? Nope.

Sorry! I want to accuse you of something, but I'm losing the language.
