I love my dogs. Not is some sick, demented way some one will inevitibly twist this into. but rather as members of my family. I have 2 of them you see. 1 is a cocker spaniel, the other a terrier poodle mix. both came from the humane Society. and bith are very loving and good dogs.
Watching them both, during the course of a day, you can really get the feel of their completely different personalities. My cocker spaniel(Einstein) believes everyone and everything is his new best friend, and can't wait to meet you, or the cat next door, or the leaf falling from the tree. He is also a wimp. when the 2 go to playing, as dogs do, he will roll over and just act as though he is fighting, rather than bark and jump and play.
Now my Terrier mix(Lady), well this is another story all together, She is the type that will bark at a stranger like mad, all while hiding behind the couch, under the bed, anywhere that she will feel its safe. This will sound odd after making that statement, but she is the more aggressive of the 2 dogs. She hogs all the dog toys,(Einstein doesn't put up much of a fight there either) and will flat go after the bigger dogs in the neighborhood.
The 2 of them get along so well, that there is rarely so much as an angry growl between them. If one is eating, the other will wait patiently till the first one is done. There isn't any scarfing all the food down. any they don't try to take away each other's treats.
Both of them seem to know when my wife or myself are sick, and they won't leave our sides until we are feeling better.
I take them both for rides, and have even taken them on a cross country journey, where they both did very well.
Am I telling people they need dogs like these? No. After all I do know there are plenty who don't like dogs or can't have them for whatever reason. I just wanted to say I've got 2 really good ones is all.

The best way is to marinade it in some sauce with garam massala or similar and then gently saute or braise in coconut milk or butter. Sometimes a nice strong ale, or even port can bring out the flavour, but you have to be gentle if it's not a specially raised animal. Of course, if you get a good quality bit of meat, for example soy fed pekinese, it's a gentler or more delicate meat, so you can be a bit rougher in how you cook it.
Like cats, they're at their best stir-fried 😀
I forgot to mention the drink. It depends on how you cook, but definitely not white wine.
Anyhow, stir fry will make it hard and chewy and it will lose its flavour.
