I think CS would be proud. Great animation.
Found a new voice I really liked, on the soundtrack was this
singer with a great voice, part Enya, part Iris Dement, very small
part Iris Dement actually. Had to wait for most of the soundtrack
to go by and it finally said 'featured vocalist': Lisbeth Scott.
Anyone heard of her?

The voice of Asian the lion was played by Liam Neeson, incredibly
believable animation, the ruffling of the fur was very real looking.
Great stuff.

boring movie though. Lord of the Rings, except the main characters can't fight or act.

How did they handle the religious propoganda subtext? Was it obvious that you were being brainwashed about Jesus, or was that aspect of it downplayed?

Great visuals, very Disney-squeaky even in the darker parts, the only Jesus-tweak was the sacrifice/resurrection of Aslan. That part had a biblical setting - reminded me of Abraham/Issac at a stone table/altar... but it was played more like druidic bad witch mumbo jumbo in the Stonehenge style.

Very, very subtle religiousness, much less so than the original books....

Try her album 'Passionate Voice', I know a family member who has it, and thinks its wonderful. Don't know if she has anymore albums. Apparantly she is a famous session vocalist. Thats all I know.

Thats what I found out. She has a web site and has about 11 CD's
out, did soundtracks for all the latest big movies. She really
snuck up on me! I like finding the latest young talents.
Speaking of which, saw the son of James Taylor and Carly Simon
play on some morning show, his sister is in his band as vocalist also.
