Yeah, but the micro brews here are much better. You can get a nice hoppy or malty ale here rather than the usual dreck that Budweiser and Miller and their likes put out.

Personally i look for a nice drunky, quicky beer, just don't see many come from the US

If you want to get drunk quick, skip the beer and go straight for the gin. It's much more efficient. Good beer (and yes, my limey friends, that does include good lager) is something you drink for the taste, not for the percentage.

Who the hell likes the taste of lager? 😵 When's the last time you asked for a alcohol free lager? and yes they are served behind most bars.

My father always called lager, 'eurofizz'...they sell lots of crap in mainland holiday resorts, probably watered down on draught..given the options, I remember some half decent stuff though, I seemed to favour Spanish over German, never liked the Italian, Danish ok..but it had to be from a can.. I've not drank for many years but I don;t miss lager, says it all I guess 😉

What the hell does "Stateside" mean anyways?
And what's the opposite: Waterside? Wilderness-side?

Yup... you Limeys still don't know what you're talking about.

Next time, try a real lager, like Urquell or Staropramen, instead of your home-grown stuff, or the cheap imports from Denmark and Belgium.

Staropramen?

I'm sure my doctor put me on those tabs to treat gout. 2 after breakfast, lunch and dinner - 3 times a day! 😀
