The collective noun for badgers is cete or clan. Plus it's 'sett' not 'set' when referring to their dens.

Haha, this is the funniest bit in this thread.

This weekend I set poles for a clothes line. To offset that carbon-friendly effort I reset that outside AC unit (the 'pad' it was setting on had basically collapsed). A satisfying weekend too.

Crap I say...crap.
Funny, I just put laminate overtop of the 50yr old hardwood floor in my house. about 1600sq ft of it. It looks rather amazing and plenty durable as well. I considered refinishing the old floor, but wasnt' feasible: more expensive, more time consuming and this stuff just plain looks better.

I have laminate flooring. It was already there when I bought the flat six years ago and had probably been there for quite a while, and it still looks about the same as when I moved in. I was sceptical to begin with and would have preferred the "real thing", but now I am not so sure anymore. It looks good, feels good and is durable. What more can I ask for?

Oh, and as for DIY, on Saturday I assembled a steel trolley from IKEA (getting it home from the post office was probably the worst part) and put my new kiln on it (getting *that* home was even worse). Just waiting for some more equipment, then I'll start fusing glass. This is HOT!

It looks fake, because it is.
